Sports video analysis on Mac and iPad

Keendra is an app for coaches, on iPad at practice and on Mac at the desk. Open a clip, see how your athlete moves and turn what you see into feedback, in sports like tennis, skiing, surfing, golf and many more.

Made for Mac and iPad

Keendra is a native app, not a website, so there's nothing to upload and no internet needed. On Mac, open videos from any folder or drive. On iPad, open them from Photos or film with the iPad's camera. Keendra links to each video and never copies, moves or changes it, so your storage doesn't fill up twice.

See the movement clearly

Slow a clip down to 0.1× speed, or step through it frame by frame. Keendra draws a skeleton over your athlete, with no markers or sensors, and estimates their joint angles as the clip plays. Zoom in up to 800%, or turn on Follow to keep your athlete centered.

Compare attempts

Cut a long video into clips, one per attempt, and go through them in a Session. Put a reference clip beside any clip: an earlier attempt, another athlete or a model movement. Mark the same movement on both and Sync plays them in step, side by side or stacked.

Share your feedback

Send a clean picture to a second display over HDMI or AirPlay, while your controls stay on your screen. Athlete not around? Play, pause, draw, point and talk, and Keendra records it all as a video you can send.

Quick to work with

Space, the arrow keys and single-key shortcuts work on Mac, and on iPad with a keyboard. Swipe two fingers over the video to find the moment. Keendra saves as you work, so each clip reopens where you left it.

What you need

  • Mac: Apple silicon with macOS 15 or later.
  • iPad: an A12 chip or newer, or any M chip, with iPadOS 18 or later.
  • Video: most videos from phones and cameras work, such as MP4 or MOV files. Keendra follows one athlete per clip and analyzes up to two minutes of each clip, which usually takes about as long as the clip itself.

One subscription covers both your Mac and your iPad. Each device keeps its own library.
